Why enquiry led programmes?
Many professional learning programmes follow an enquiry led approach. This is in recognition of a school’s need for professional development to align with improvement priorities and be able to evidence impact. CSC programme facilitators will work with practitioners over a number of sessions to set an enquiry, research ‘what works’, develop, implement and evaluate an action plan.
Practitioners can expect to develop a collaborative network with others on the programme and will usually be required to complete tasks between sessions and participate in discussion around the outcomes of these tasks. Practitioners will make an evaluation of how the programme has impacted on outcomes and practice in their school.
