Working For The Consortium
Employees are the source of our strength. The way that our staff conduct themselves determines our reputation with the wider school community and with stakeholders across the region. We know that people and their skills, capacity, and commitment are central to delivering and improving school improvement services.
There are four simple factors that contribute to making a successful organisation:
- Knowing what it is we are trying to achieve – what does ‘good’ look like?
- Having a workforce that is dedicated and motivated, an organisational culture that is focused on success, and an identity that attracts the people that we want and need.
- Understanding what it is we need to do in order to be successful – in our case, what do we need to provide to schools and how do we know it is effective?
- Making sure that everything we do is focused on successfully delivering our goals; in other words, doing what we say we will do.

Learning and Development
We believe that continual development is essential and people perform most effectively when they are supported to achieve clear, challenging, and realistic targets. We believe in encouraging all employees to embrace continuous professional development and to take responsibility for their own progression. To support this, we will provide opportunities for personal growth, career development and continuous learning.
In order to facilitate these principles, staff will be provided with the opportunity to attend a range of meetings, courses, and events.
