We currently have two vacancies available:

  1. Strategic Advisor for Humanities and Well Being

Full time or Part time

2-year Secondment or temporary contract to commence as soon as possible.

Soulbury 18 – 21 £56,788 - £59,902 or secondment on current salary up to £59,902

We are seeking to appoint a talented and experienced teacher to join our School Improvement Team as Strategic Adviser for Humanities & Well Being AOLE.

This post will be required to work with Challenge Advisers, schools and Local Authorities to ensure the Central South region becomes an outstanding place for teaching, school leadership and pupils’ achievement, whilst supporting the development of school-led school to school working.

This post will have oversight and responsibility for the development of excellent teaching and learning across Humanities & Well Being through the identification of strong practice, the use of our networks, school improvement groups and hubs and for the construction of differentiated and tailored support programmes to meet the needs of all schools whilst ensuring these are available swiftly and effectively to meet schools’ needs.

Applications are welcome from candidates who are excellent teachers with a proven track record in raising standards. Candidates must also be aware of national, CSC, Local Authority and school priorities and what these imply for developing the workforce in schools at all levels.

  1. Associate Adviser for Languages, Literacy and Communication

(Secondary English / Literacy)

1-year Secondment or Temporary Contract – Full time or part time to commence as soon as possible

We are seeking to appoint a talented and experienced secondary middle leader to join our School Improvement Team as Development Officer for secondary English and Literacy.

This post will be required to work with challenge advisers, schools and local authorities to ensure the Central South region becomes an outstanding place for teaching, school leadership and pupils’ achievement, whilst supporting the development of school-to-school working.

This successful candidate will have oversight and responsibility for the development of excellent teaching and learning in the Languages, Literacy & Communication area of learning and experience, particularly in secondary English and literacy. The successful candidate will, through the identification of strong practice, develop school networks, lead practitioners and hub schools for the construction of differentiated and tailored support programmes to meet regional and national needs.
