Professional Pathways

The region is committed to offering high quality professional learning programmes against every career milestone.

In addition to the programmes currently offered by hub schools, we provide development opportunities and programmes for all practitioners including HLTAs, NQTs, with a specific focus on leadership development from middle leadership to executive headteacher programmes.

What next?

We will continue to develop and offer a high-quality PL programme against all the leadership milestones. We will work with schools and other partners, including other regions, to develop a national leadership offer which reflect the aims and vision of the National Academy for Educational Leadership. We will continue to support schools to work together in collaborative models that support the development of leadership capacity.
